So my boy DJ Elements hit me up with this track a few minutes ago. It's the first single off their upcoming mixtape Renovators of Hip Hop . Secret Society is the collective effort of a group upcoming producers and MC's out of Miami. They've been making some moves around South Florida recently, getting rotation on the radio and just spreading the word. I've known these cats for a while, and they can spit (and produce) some hot tracks.
But on to the song. You guys know that I love beats that sound like they're from, what I call, "The Golden Age of Hip-Hop". You know what I'm talking about; that Hieroglyphics shit, so the beat definitely supplies. As usual, they all bring the lyrical heat too, each with their own style, but none lacking skill. Be on the lookout for the rise of these cat's, it's inevitable, so jump on it, or get out the way.
