This guy is a beast. 31 weeks straight, every single Monday, pumping out a completely original song. What the hell is wrong with him? He loves his music, that's what, and you can tell, 52 weeks of free (not to mention sick ass) songs is way past marketing, this guy loves what he does.

"I was in the middle of going through a lot of beats that were not grabbin me at all...after a while I got bored and put the pen down to start watching some super clear bootleg DVDs...one flick had Samuel L Jackson talkin about how he is the Genesis and that no one can fuck wit him...I thought the concept was cool and so I started lookin for a beat that could match the Genesis vibe I was goin for...then I came across this joint that T-Mos sent me...when I heard it the beat made me want to emphasize clever word play along with solid punch lines...the song has a cocky tone but it's merited...thanks for all of the support...check it out"

So I just got the first track from Manic Mondays sent me over to me. Manic Monday's is what K. Sparks calls this little year long event that he's going to be having. Apparently he has over 300 songs, "not mixtapes, or freestyles" but actual songs, that's he's going to be releasing every monday, for a good while. This first song is pretty amazing, and reminds me of one of Papoose's first songs "Alphabetical Slaughter", which was quite good, so any comparison is a good one. He goes through it in a different way, and he doesn't have DJ Kay Slay screaming over his tracks, which is definitely a plus. Check it out, you'll like it if not love it. Here's what Sparks said about it:
