Here's another artist outta Chi-Town, his name is Ob.Ok.?!! (pronounced Oh Bee Oh Kay, not ob ok). He sent me over these new tracks from an upcoming mixtape, 606FU: The All-City Mixtape. He's part of a group called "The Writer's Block Club", I haven't heard any tracks from them, but if they sound like him, they can't be too bad.
The first song is called "I'm Fresh" and it's pretty fresh itself. The beat to Pharrell's "How Does It Feel" is used; A very trumpet heavy instrumental, with a sick drumline= an amazing beat that get's you to listen right off the back. He can spit some hot lines too, and I can't help but think about how much his flow and voice remind me of someone, but I can't think of a name right now, hit me up if you know who I'm talking about, because
I don't, haha.
The second song, "Very Freak Flow" (Gucci Man's "Very Freaky Girl" instrumental)is just that, and I can't think of words to describe it. I don't like it as much as "I'm Fresh", but then again, it's a completely different song. You really have to hear it to know what I'm talking about. Well, get to it
